KTC and Rowville Physio have come to a mutually beneficial arrangement for 2010 with the announcement of a wonderful plan to allow club members (show us the money!!) access to first class assistance with training and injury concerns. Below is the outline as emailed to all club members earlier today....



Dear Club Members,

Am I writing to you all to inform you of a 'service' that will be available to all registered KTC athletes.

I have met many of the Club members since I joined the club and we are very grateful to all those KTC athletes who have utilised our services over the last 8 years. For those of you who I have not had the opportunity to meet our practice is located on the corner of Kelletts Road and Taylors Lane in Rowville. We have a special interest in treating running and triathlon injuries. Our facility is one of the largest in the state now and we offer a proud range of physiotherapy services to assist you and your family with just about anything related to your wellbeing. We have assisted many athletes across a wide variety of sports from Club to Olympic level.

Personally I have been practising for over 15 years. I have a extensive background in athletics and I am a Conditional Level 1 Triathlon Coach.

As part of our sponsorship arrangement with the Club I will be making myself available to any athlete who-

1. Has an injury concern, particularly those re-occurring problems
2. Would like some advice regarding any aspect of swim, bike or run technique
3. Exercise particularly remedial exercise advice
4. Assessment of any 'biomechanical' concerns
5. Training advice

My attendance also provides me with the opportunity to supervise exercise programs that have been already established for you.

I will be available at Thursday night track sessions from approximately 7.30 PM to 8.15 PM depending on demand.

This service will officially start next Thursday February 25th, 2010.

All KTC athletes receive a discount at our facility.

I look forward to assisting you all in any way I can. I will also keep you posted regarding the opening of our new sports medicine facility on March 1st, 2010 which greatly enhances our ability to assist all athletes with a broad range of services.
